Training highly qualified personnel in the related field of “history and geography”, capable of teaching historical and geographical disciplines in specialized secondary schools, higher education institutions on the basis of the latest scientific concepts, understanding the characteristics of the interaction of society and the geographical environment during historical development; solve scientific problems in interdisciplinary research from the standpoint of historical and geographical knowledge; ensure the effectiveness of the educational process on the basis of classical and innovative teaching methods; build your own program of further education and research activities. |

ON-1 Develop innovative educational methods and technologies for teaching historical and geographical disciplines in general and specialized secondary schools, based on the theory of modern pedagogical and methodological knowledge; ON-2 To apply in the learning process technologies for differentiated learning, communication and dialogue activities, modular and project activities; apply GIS technology; to use effectively in the educational process technical training tools, information and computer technologies; ON-3 To design the content of educational programs of higher professional education on the basis of the competency model of the graduate, the requirements of state educational standards and the system of modern approaches (modular, personality-oriented); organize interactive forms of classes at the university, develop methodological support, assessment tools, form educational motives of students; ON-4 To develop adapted programs and relevant teaching materials on environmental education, including teaching aids on the methods of teaching environmental education, to form a system of scientific knowledge, attitudes and beliefs that ensure the formation of a responsible attitude of students to the environment; ON-5 To be competent in the features of work in small schools, features of work in external studies; to develop adapted programs and relevant teaching materials on teaching methods in small schools, select effective teaching technologies in small schools. ON-6 To develop proposals for improving the work of the education department in organizing advanced training for university teachers and secondary specialized educational institutions, and for introducing innovative educational technologies into the educational process; apply and develop distance learning forms; ON-7 Conduct qualified research and expert evaluation of the planning, organization and practical implementation of educational activities in organizations of secondary, secondary and higher education; ON-8 Conduct research in the field of local history, multilingual education and be able to incorporate the results of scientific research into the educational process; ON-9 Apply the methods of auxiliary historical and geographical disciplines, the methodology of interdisciplinary research to develop historical maps; ON-10 To develop a program for the development of economic regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account its modern social, demographic and economic potential; explain the factors that slow down the involvement of labor in the production and services in the country; ON-11 To make maps of sacred objects, to create travel programs for the sacred places of Central Asia based on the systematization of the collected materials on the sacred geography of Central Asia; liaise with scientists, with tourism and educational institutions and the public; own an excursion technique, develop excursion texts along scientific, educational, tourist and excursion routes; ON-12 Be able to build professional relationships with colleagues and management; adapt flexibly in non-standard situations; integrate personal communication resources, new communication technologies.
