Результаты обучения

1. Preparation of research results using their knowledge in setting the goals of research and solving design problems, analysis of modern theories, concepts and models in the field of public and local government;

2. Develop educational and methodical complex of disciplines in accordance with the requirements of the University, conduct classes and research.

3. Develop a strategy of human resources management of the organization and design organizational structures of state and local government;

4. Develop alternative management solutions in the field of economic security of the country and regions on the basis of analysis and evaluation of criteria and indicators of economic security threats;

5. Make tasks of strategic management in the interests of society and the state, including the setting of socially significant goals, the formation of conditions for their achievement, the organization of work to obtain the maximum possible results;

6. Organize the implementation of the decisions of the President, the Government and higher state bodies, establish accounting and verification of the implementation of these decisions, ensure control over the progress of their implementation; seek ways to reconcile different interests;

7. Implement the main directions of the state administrative policy and solve the problems of social policy, determine the causes and prevent social conflicts;

8. Make a plan of organizational and economic activities of enterprises and organizations in the field of housing and communal services, taking into account the specifics of the implementation of state programs;

9. Make reports on the basis of monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of the achievement and implementation of strategic goals, objectives in the system of strategic planning and results-based budgeting;

10. Develop corporate strategy, programs of organizational development and changes, ensure their implementation;

11. Develop regulatory documents defining procedures, hierarchy, subordination and interaction in public authorities and proposals for the introduction of innovative approaches and solutions aimed at improving the efficiency of activities;

12. Have the ability to adapt quickly and adapt to new conditions, to continuous education in order to acquire new knowledge, to be ready to transfer existing knowledge, skills, abilities and skills to new objects of activity, to be able to realize the need for the formation of new competencies.

Академическая деятельность

The academic activities of the EP are carried out:

- within the framework of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education";

- on the basis of the Standard Rules for the Activities of Educational Organizations Implementing Educational Programs of Higher and Postgraduate Education;

- on the basis of the State Compulsory Standards of Higher and Postgraduate Education;

- on the basis of the Standard Rules for admission to training in educational organizations that implement educational programs of higher and postgraduate education;

- on the basis of orders of the Higher School of Economics and Business;

- on the basis of educational and methodological complexes for each discipline of the Educational program;

- based on the plan of the educational process of the academic calendar).

The main areas of academic activity:

- presentation of the theoretical, practical and methodological basis of knowledge on state and local government;

- training and education of qualified specialists - masters in public administration, meeting high standards, using classical and modern management methods;

- development and maintenance of relations with the international academic community in the field of applied and educational activities;

- exchange of experience and knowledge with the professional community in solving promising and urgent problems of public administration.

The department, as part of the training of masters, interacts with the Institute of Economics of the Science committee of the ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Union of Project Managers of the RK.

There is a branch of the department on the basis of LLP “NCP ID Group (Innovation Development Group). Main directions of activity:

1. Joint activities of the Parties in the field of educational activities, joint research and projects, professional development of workers, internships and practices based on the principles of mutual respect, equality, institutional independence and mutual benefit;

2. Updating and improving the content of educational programs in accordance with the needs of production;

3. Mutual assistance of the Parties for employment of al-Farabi Kazakh National University graduates;

4. Joint activities on the basis of additional agreements between the Parties, as well as in accordance with the agreed action plan.

Training:

 - conducting scientific and methodological seminars for the teaching staff of higher educational institutions;

- conducting trainings for employees of business structures, educators, civil servants in the field of project management;

- conducting trainings for students, undergraduates, doctoral students; PhD.

- scientific research, including the implementation of contractual projects commissioned by enterprises.

Научная деятельность

The research work consists in researching various directions of the theory and practice of managing the economy of Kazakhstan, identifying existing problems and developing ways to solve them. Research leaders in each area are leading professors and associate professors of the department.

Projects on the basis of the department for fundamental scientific research funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1. AP05135300 Modernization of the labor market as an integral part of the mechanism for the implementation of the third modernization of Kazakhstan: theoretical and applied problems and prospects for their solution. Scientific adviser - candidate of economic sciences, associate professor Dzhumambaev S.K. Project for fundamental scientific research funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan: AР09259851 "Development of a circular economy in Kazakhstan: potential, trends, prospects". Scientific adviser: Zhidebekkyzy A. The project involves a third-year doctoral student of the specialty "Innovation Management" Dinara Kalmakova.

3. Project for fundamental scientific research funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan: AР09260228 “Strengthening state regulation of the social sphere of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the post-pandemic period. Scientific adviser - Ashirbekova L.Zh. Project participants: Sansyzbaeva G.N., Smagulova G.S., Sokira T.S., Abdil A.

    The Department of "Management" of the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi KazNU expands the research work of students through the annual holding of subject Olympiads in supervised specialties: "Management", "State and local government".

         Also, students have the opportunity to participate in student scientific circles of the Department of Management, such as "Top Manager", "Memleket Kairatkeri", annually participate in the international conference for students and young scientists "Al-Farabi Alemi" within the framework of the international Farabi readings, in the international patriotic forum "Men zhastarga senemin!", where they can present innovative projects.

The system of guarantees of the quality of education in KazNU named after al-Farabi is based on European standards and directives of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).

Monitoring and assessment of the quality of educational services at the University is carried out by the Center for Accreditation and Quality of Educational Programs.

The Department of Management is consistently developing interaction with potential employers - they are the ones who know exactly what knowledge and skills their employees need today, and what they will need tomorrow. Note that employers are representatives of scientific organizations, business structures, and government bodies.

Representatives of professional communities are members of the educational commissions of the department, taking an active part in the development of educational programs.
