EP purpose

The purpose of the educational program - training of highly qualified specialists – teachers-psychologists, in demand in the field of education and personal development, with knowledge and competencies, able to analyze psychological and pedagogical situations and professional decision-making, understanding the specifics and importance of psychological and pedagogical activities; owning technologies of psychological and pedagogical activities and psychological and pedagogical competencies.

The implementation of the educational program is aimed at the formation of the personality of a specialist capable of:

•              to solve professional psychological and pedagogical problems of human development on the basis of knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, knowledge of modern concepts and theories of education and psychology, categorical apparatus of modern psychological and pedagogical science;

•              design and implement, analyze the pedagogical process in schools, colleges, manage the pedagogical process in the organization of education;

•              design and implement the activities of psychological services in the educational institution for the diagnosis, education, prevention, correction and development of the student's personality;

•              to develop and improve educational strategies, technologies and teaching methods, to introduce innovations in education; to possess modern pedagogical strategies and technologies, to use them effectively in the integral pedagogical process of educational institutions, to design individual educational trajectories of education and development;

•              to carry out quality control of education, to develop methods and tools for monitoring the quality of education;

•              build a personal trajectory of development, interact with the use of ICT, carry out multilingual communication.

Educational outcome

  1. demonstrate knowledge of the main stages of the recent history of state development of Kazakhstan in the context of the world and Eurasian historical process; free interpret and use creatively scientific, historical and philosophical knowledge to summarize the success factors of the Kazakhstani development model on the way to the established state - the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  2. apply the legislation in the field of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan “about Education”, “Status of a teacher”, the Code on marriage and the family, etc., knowledge of the history of pedagogy and education; ethnopedagogy, knowledge of the general laws of education, analyze psychological and pedagogical situations on the basis of didactics and the theory of educational work; master the scientific and theoretical foundations of training, upbringing and development; categorical apparatus of pedagogy and psychology;
  3. design and implement, analyze and evaluate the pedagogical process in the school under the conditions of 12-year education, manage the pedagogical process in the school and college, create a favorable learning;
  4. organize the activities of the psychological service at school, plan, organize, diagnose and forecast the results of psychological and pedagogical activities; carry out procedures for assessing the psychological and social status of students, conduct diagnostics; fill out the psychological and pedagogical documentation, solve the problems of primary, secondary, tertiary diagnosis of children based on observation methods and consultative conversations, diagnostic techniques;
  5. provide psychological consulting assistance to children in typical request situations, apply counseling methods focused on solving development problems, consult school and college staff on child development issues, make analysis and search for resources of age-related development, profiling and career guidance, organize pilot work in educational institutions for counseling children; on the prevention and development of the psychological health of a child;
  6. identify the features of the age-related anatomical and physiological, psychological development of a growing person; understand the patterns of personal development of children, adolescents and youth; develop and implement individual programs for the correction and children development, projects, plans for educational activities and their psychological support, psychological and pedagogical support in the activities of schools, colleges, universities;
  7. own, develop and improve educational strategies, new technologies, methods of training and education, distance learning technologies, introduce innovations in education; conduct socio-psychological trainings, design individual educational trajectories, including for children with special educational needs;
  8. carry out quality control of education, own management technologies and criteria-based assessment, carry out assessment procedures for students' academic achievements; to develop methods and tools for educational quality control;
  9. conduct mini-research in the field of education, carry out research activities and evaluation results of psychological and pedagogical research and make conclusions and suggestions for their practical use;
  10. project the interaction of a teacher-psychologist with a family in various situations, including the prevention and correction of child development; conduct educational work with parents, organize experimental work in educational institutions on children counseling, on the prevention and correction of deviant behavior, maladaptation of a child;
  11. creatively solve problems in the field of education, initiate innovative ideas that unite education stakeholders, promote creative methods, digital educational resources in the pedagogical process, set and solve non-standard tasks based on universal values, values of self-cognition, values of folk pedagogy;
  12. reflect on professional activities, have critical thinking, systematically improve professional qualifications, define the boundaries of their competence, successfully communicate with colleagues, specialists in related professions, use methods of reflection and decision-making with colleagues, and implement multilingual communication.
