On February 10, 2022, from 10.00-18.00, in online format was held the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Physical Culture and Sports in the Educational System: Experience and Prospects for Development" for university teachers, school teachers, students and young scientists.

           The conference was organized by the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi together with the National Scientific and Practical Center of Physical Culture of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

With a welcoming speech at the beginning of the conference were made by: acting. Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovation Activities of Al-Farabi KazNU Tasibekov Khaidar Suleimanovich and General Director of the National Scientific and Practical Center of Physical Culture of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sadykov Sagdat Kabirovich. The moderator of the conference was the head of the department of physical education and sports, Iskakova A.D.

The conference was attended by professors, doctoral students, undergraduates and students from universities: Moscow State Pedagogical University, P. F. Lesgaft National State University, Vytautas Magnus University of Lithuania, the University of Latvia, the universities of the Republics of Tatarstan and Tuva, the universities from Kazakhstan and leading school teachers of the country.              

In total, there were more than 200 participants from 23 universities, including 10 doctors of science, 28 candidates of science, 2 PhD students, 39 senior university teachers, 11 university professors, 7 college teachers, 14 school teachers, and 42 students, sports organizations-5. The number of reports and speeches is 30, the number of publications is 179. The conference was held in three sections:

- Modern approaches to the formation of professional competencies of a future specialist in the field of physical culture and sports.

- Improvement of theoretical-methodical and practical aspects of preschool, school, high school physical education.

- Status and problems of AFC in the education system.

At the end of the conference, the results were summed up and the Resolution was adopted on 16 points. At the end of the conference, all participants were awarded electronic certificates and an electronic collection of the conference.
