On February 10, 2023, from 10.00-18.00, the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Problems and Prospects for the Development of Physical Education and Sports" was held online for lecturers, school teachers, students and young scientists, coaches.
The conference was organized by the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University together with the National Scientific and Practical Center of Physical Culture of the Kazakhstan Republic Ministry of Education.
In the period from January 27 to February 7, 2023, the World Cup competitions in bullet shooting were held in the Indonesian city of Jakarta. Kazakhstan shooter, 2nd year master's student of the specialty "Physical culture and sports" Konstantin Malinovsky in the exercise "air rifle" won the silver of the World Cup.
On February 10, 2023, from 10.00-18.00, the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Problems and prospects of development of physical education and sports" for university teachers, school teachers, students and young scientists will be held in an online format.
The conference is organized by the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University together with the National Scientific and Practical Center of Physical Culture of the MP RK.
The main goals and objectives of the conference:
- development and improvement of scientific, methodological and practical work of physical education teachers in various parts of the education system;
- dissemination of advanced pedagogical experience of teachers, trainers;
- increasing the creative activity of teaching staff using innovative technologies;
- promotion of modern forms and methods of organizing the educational process in physical culture with students assigned to special medical groups for health reasons and with persons with disabilities.
Оn January 18, 2023 in Bangkok (Thailand), the competitions of the Asian Championship in boxing up to 22 years were held. At these competitions, a 3rd-year student of the specialty "Physical culture and sports"Toykova Moldir won a bronze medal in the weight of 50 kg.
On December 7, 2022, at 12.30 pm, an event dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day was held in the auditorium No. 6 of the sports complex. Within the framework of this event, a round table on the topic "Your right, your role: say no to corruption" was organized, which was attended by students, undergraduates and the teaching staff of the Department of Physical Education and Sports. The organizer of the Round table is Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, docent Madieva Galiya Bayanzhanovna.
Saduakas Bekarys is the champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan in judo.
On November 17, 2022, the Judo Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Atyrau (Republic of Kazakhstan). At these competitions, a 2nd year student (socr.,) in the specialty "Physical culture and sports" Saduakas Bekarys became the Champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan in judo, in the weight category of 100 kg
Koibagar Darkhan is a bronze medalist of the Judo Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On November 15, 2022, the Judo Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Atyrau (Republic of Kazakhstan). At these competitions, a 3rd year student (socr.,) majoring in "Physical Culture and Sports" Koibagar Darkhan won a bronze medal in the 73 kg weight category.
Narynova Mоldir is a silver medalist of the Judo Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
