On November 8, 2021, the World Freestyle Wrestling Championship was held in Belgrade (Serbia). Asyl Aytakyn, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of Medicine and Health with a degree in Physical Culture and Sports, won a bronze medal in the weight category up to 61 kg. In the fight for third place, he was stronger than the Hungarian Gamzatgadzhi Khalidov.
