In KazNU named after Al-Farabi, the Olympic champion Eldos Smetov met with the Chairman of the Board-Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev and the students of the university.

From October 4 to October 8, 2021, the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in swimming among 3, 4, 5 age groups was held in Aktobe (RK). At these competitions, a 1st year student of the Faculty of Medicine and Health with a degree in Physical Culture and Sports Melisova Asem showed excellent results in different distances. As a result, Melisova Asem took 2nd place in the 1500m freestyle with a score of 19.18.80, 3rd place in the 400m freestyle with a score of 4.52.05, 3rd place in the 800m freestyle with a score of 9.57.73, 3rd place in distance 50 m butterfly with a score of 31.40.

In order to develop mass sports, including to stimulate the interest of rural residents in physical culture, sports competitions in the Kazakh wrestling "Ak Bidai" are traditionally organized annually at the republican level. The competition was held in September 2021 in Aktau. A 1st year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports" Bilal Bolat took 1st place in the 66 kg weight category in Kazakh wrestling at the VII Republican Rural Spartakiad "Ak Bidai".

From June 9 to June 11, 2021, competitions of the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in judo among women were held in Nur-Sultan (RK). Diana Aipova, the 3rd year student of the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare, majoring in Physical Culture and Sports, became the champion in the 52 kg weight category.

Chairman of the Board-Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU Tuimebayev Zhanseit Kanseitovich met with Olympic champion Dmitry Balandin. Dmitry Balandin is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine and Health with a degree in Physical Education and Sports, winner of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Greco-Roman wrestling U23 has come to an end.

The winner of the gold medal in the weight category of 72 kg was the 1st year student of the Faculty of Medicine of the FCS Department Kokenov Alikhan.

Congratulations to the 1st year student of the FMZ department of the FCS Aitagyn Asyl with the first place in freestyle wrestling.

Aytagyn Asyl, at the past freestyle wrestling competitions in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling, in the weight category of 61 kg.

Today, on May 17, 2021, the volleyball competition (men) of the XI Summer Universiade among the universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan ended on the basis of the MKTU named after H.A. Yassaui (Turkestan).

In the final game, our national team met with the home team, despite this our guys easily won the set with a score of 3: 0.
