International round table "Modern lexicography through time and space"

On September 18, 2020, the famous lexicographer, specialist in Russian, academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Doctor of Philology Galina Aleksandrovna Bogatova celebrated her 90th birthday!
On this day, the Glossa Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation Center and the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature of Al-Farabi KazNU together with the Russian State Library, the Kazakhstan Public Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (KAZPRYL) within the framework of the scientific and educational project "The Epoch and Personality »Held an international round table on the topic" Modern lexicography through time and space ".
This event, entitled "MODERN LEXICOGRAPHY THROUGH TIME AND SPACE", was dedicated to the anniversary of Galina Aleksandrovna Bogatova.
A truly gift for the organizers and participants was the fact that Galina Aleksandrovna took a personal part and talked about the most interesting moments of the creation of the Dictionary of the Russian language of the XI-XVII centuries, which is published to this day.
Scientists from Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan took part in the work of the round table, who spoke about the famous Russian Language Dictionary Card catalog, which is kept in the I.R. Vinogradov Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as research directly related to the card index and the participation in them of employees of the Department of Historical Lexicology and Lexicography of this institute.
The moderator of the event, as well as the initiator of the event, was ُShaymerdenova Nursulu Zhamalbekovna, Doctor of Philology, Professor of Al-Farabi KazNU.
On this day, not only welcoming and congratulatory words were heard to the hero of the day, but also scientific reports of young scientists from Al-Farabi KazNU, LN Gumilyov ENU, EAGI.
The event was held at a high organizational, scientific and methodological level. Each of the participants, and especially the students of the specialty "Philology" and "Russian Language and Literature", received answers to their questions and new insights.
