November 24, 2021 Department of Philosophyof the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Al-Farabi Center will hold an international round table "AGYN KASYMZHANOV-SCIENTIST-PHILOSOPHER, FARABI SCHOLAR " dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Agyn Khairullovich Kasymzhanov and the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Agyn Khairullovich Kasymzhanov was one of the first developers of theoretical problems of the history of philosophical thought and the legacy of al-Farabi. With his direct participation, the Al-Farabi Center was established in 1993 at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

Since October 2003, in memory of the outstanding scientist, thinker, mentor A.H. Kasymzhanov, the Department of Philosophy has been holding an international conference "Kasymzhanov readings", which is timed to the birthday of A.H.Kasymzhanov.

The round table will discuss the issues of creativity and personality of A.H.Kasymzhanov, his contribution to the study of the intellectual heritage of Al-Farabi in the context of the spiritual development of Kazakh society.

The international round table will be attended by scientists-students and followers of A.H.Kasymzhanov from Kazakhstan, countries of the near and far abroad.

The round table will be held on the ZOOM platform with a broadcast on the social networks of the Al-Farabi Center.
