More than 20 graduates of the Faculty of International Relations of KazNU will work on projects on 17 sustainable development goals at UN Plaza Almaty.
🇺🇳 Work on projects is carried out within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between KazNU and the UN. In addition, since 2011, the university has been a UN Global Center for the UNAI Academic Impact Program. General coordination at UN Plaza Almaty will be carried out by the representative of the Department of Global Communications in Almaty, Vlastimil Samek.

As part of the kick-off meeting, Vlastimil Samek congratulated the event participants on the 90th anniversary of the university and spoke about the role of KazNU as a hub that contributes to the implementation of all 17 sustainable development goals through academic influence and is not only a leading university in the Central Asian region, but also a modern driver of world-class development.
Dean of the Faculty of International Relations Leila Delovarova noted that cooperation with UN agencies is one of the main directions of the faculty in the context of sustainable development and promoting the main ideas of the organization among international relations students and young scientists.
🇺🇳 Great hopes are placed on the graduates of the faculty, and given that this is an anniversary graduation, it was noted that it is they, as diplomats of the new generation, who will bring an innovative vision to the resolution and prevention of conflicts, as well as to the formation of new approaches to foreign policy in the medium term.
Projects will cover such aspects as human rights, sustainable development and Kazakhstan's role in maintaining peace and security.
