AMERICAN SUMMER SCHOOL "The role of the United States in the modern world in the context of American studies in Kazakhstan and Central Asia"

The Summer School "The Role of the United States in the Modern World in the Context of American Studies in Kazakhstan and Central Asia", in Almaty organized by the Department of International Relations (IRF) of al-Farabi KazNU, Resource Center for American and Democratic Studies and the Student Association of Americanists with the support of the US Embassy in Kazakhstan.

Lectures and workshops were conducted by well-known professors, experts and young researchers in the field of international relations, the world economy and history from Kazakhstan's universities, research institutes and centers.

Professor Brenda Flaghenen, a prominent specialist in the field of US culture, was invited as the main lecturer, who introduced the school participants to the latest trends in the study and teaching of American studies at US universities.

Students of the summer school were undergraduates, doctoral students and young teachers from universities in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, engaged in research in the field of American studies. The certificates were awarded to the following students:
