On November 7, 2022, the Faculty of International Relations hosted a public lecture by Michel Joseph Baranik, Professor of the International University "Ala-Too", on the topic of "The Russia and Ukraine War: Causes and Consequences", organized by the Department of International Relations and World Economy.
The public lecture was attended by young scientists, students of the faculty. Professor Barannik presented the causes of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which is currently an urgent geopolitical tension, and its impact on regional and international political processes.
The lecture ended with an open discussion, where students received answers to many questions of interest to them. Professor Barannik expressed his gratitude to the participants of the lecture.
