At the end of December 2022, the 4th Baoshan Cup Innovation Competition for College Students ended successfully. For eight years it has been gathering outstanding innovation projects in information technology, biomedicine and new materials from innovation teams with college students from all over the world. The competition is held jointly with the Shanghai University Science and Technology Development Center and is specially organized by the Central University Science and Technology Park.   

Competitions for the Baoshan Cup lasted five months, and 138 innovative works from 45 universities in the country and abroad, including Tsinghua University, Fudan University, East China Normal University, Shanghai University, Shanghai Maritime University, Al -Farabi and others. As a result, 11 award-winning projects were released. The Organizing Committee highly appreciated the prize-winning and outstanding projects of this competition.   

The Baoshan Science and Technology Commission communicates with various outstanding enterprise projects in a timely manner, providing technology transformation proposals, market capital, expert groups and other resources for scientific and technological innovation. The next step will be to provide ongoing attention and monitoring services to support entrepreneurial projects.   

The following students of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data took 3rd place in the competition and were able to raise not only the name of the university, but also the reputation of Kazakhstan abroad. They:

3. Koylybekova Anelya Bauyrzhanovna - 2nd year master's student
