UNDERGRADUATES OF THE DEPARTMENT HAVE COMPLETED AN INTERNSHIP IN GERMANY

A group of undergraduates of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, headed by the head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, completed a scientific internship at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences. Boyta, having gained invaluable experience in scientific research and knowledge.


The scientific internship was supported by the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD. The head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, Ph.D., Associate Professor Madina Yessimkhanovna Mansurova headed a group of six undergraduates of the specialty "Intelligent Control Systems", which included: Zh.Baigaraeva, B. Amangeldy, N. Tasmurzayeva, A. Zhaksylyk, S. Bayazitova, Zh. Orynbasarova.

Professor at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences. Boyta B.E. Reznik conducted classes, during which master's students were engaged in the study of relevant topics: "Research and implementation of artificial intelligence in geodesy", "The use of artificial intelligence for the analysis of deformations of urban objects", "Experience in the implementation of Smart city in Germany", etc.

As part of the internship, the group visited the ISCTE-University Institute of Lisbon. For 3 days, meetings, meaningful seminars were held with employees of the Institute of Telecommunications (Instituto de Telecomunicacoes, IT-IUL).

 

The head of the group also prepared and conducted a seminar, presenting a presentation on the topic: "Development of an intelligent information and analytical system for monitoring patients with diabetes mellitus and providing a disease management program." During the seminar, the prospects for further cooperation, issues of implementation of the joint double-diploma doctoral program "Intelligent control systems" were discussed. The participants were also interested in the presentation of master's students Amangeldy Bibars and Nurdaulet Tasmurzaev “Implementation of the SmartLab project”.
The internship roundtable on "Smart health in the aging era: technologies and interventions" brought together scientists from different fields of research who work together with undergraduates and doctoral students to solve problems for an elderly society using smart sensing, mobile health, technologies and devices smart homes and cities. The issues of decision-making and aspects of analysis, security and data confidentiality were discussed.
