Grif Mikhail Gennadievich is a professor at the Faculty of Automation and Computer Engineering at Novosibirsk State Technical University (Russia). In 1987 he defended his candidate's dissertation, in 2002 - his doctoral dissertation. In 2004 he was awarded the title of professor. From 2012 to 2017 Grif M.G. worked as head of the department of automated control systems. Since 2017, he has been elected to the post of professor of this department. Lectures on the disciplines "Intelligent systems", "Design of human-machine systems", "Intelligent systems and technologies", etc., supervises the magistracy and postgraduate studies. Grif M.G. is actively engaged in research work. 33 articles in the Scopus database, h-index (Scopus) 3, 24 articles in the Web of Science database, h-index (WoS) 1.

For many years, being the scientific director of grants and contractual research and development on decision-making systems in various industries. Head of the scientific direction "Methods for the design of human-machine systems and computer sign language interpretation systems." Most of the results and developments obtained have been implemented.

Three candidate and one doctoral dissertations were defended under his scientific supervision. Currently he is the scientific advisor of six graduate students. The list of scientific papers and patents is more than three hundred publications. Member of two dissertation councils of NSTU.
