The Senior Lecturer of the Mechanics Department at the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, PhD Karlygash A. Alibaeva, became the winner of the "Best University Teacher – 2023" competition.

The competition is held annually with the aim of raising the prestige of the teaching profession and stimulating educators for further
professional development.
This year, 768 teachers from 80 Universities of the country participated in the competition. The assessment criteria included the development and publication of electronic educational resources, materials, scientific publications in domestic and international journals, the presence of patents for inventions, and more. The quality of the candidate's teaching, as well as their efforts in training students at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels, were also evaluated.
A total of 150 teachers from 43 Kazakhstani universities became winners. Each of them will receive a prize equivalent to 2000 Monthly Reference Points (MRP).
Congratulations to Karlygash A. Alibaeva, the best lecturer from the Mechanics Department, for being included in the list of winners and achieving success!
