As you know, the training of competitive specialists, the combination of Science and production, the introduction of progressive solutions of domestic science into the production sector are among the most important tasks set by the President.

In this regard, on the basis of a contract concluded between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Semizbay U LLP, 4th year students of the Department of mechanics of the Faculty of mechanics and mathematics Esbergen Zhandaulet and Meirambekova Nuray passed production and pre – graduate practice at the «Semizbay U» mine in Akmola region.

During the practice, in accordance with the instructions set by the production, Esbergen Zhandaulet carried out scientific research work on the topic: «Use of extraction by leaching of quadrivalent uranium (UO₂) by bacteria», Meirambekova Nurai «Study of the effectiveness of Push-Pull techniques in mineral extraction by underground well leaching».
