From April 7 to April 14, 2019, the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was visited by Professor Olivier Botella from the University of Nancy, France.He devoted his short-term visit to reading a lecture for master students undergraduates in the specialty "Geoenergy" of the Department of Mechanics, enrolled in the Double Degree Program (Double Degree Program).

  During the visit, a meeting was held with the leadership of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, where prospects for further cooperation were discussed, in particular, the development and implementation of joint-educational programs (Joint Program) on mechanics and energy, as well as on mathematical specialties.

  Professor O. Botella also participated in the environmental clean-up on the Furmanov Peak route, organized by the first-year doctoral students of the Department of Mechanics (Amanzholov Tannur, Shakir Yesen, ,liuly Abdurashid, Baimbetov Dinmukhambetov, Kutimov Kiyas, Bosinov Daniyar) of the Mechanics and Mathematics Department.
