May 23, 2019 at the Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine of al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a round table on the 70th anniversary of the Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Zifa Asanbaevna Askarova, on "Modern problems of Physiology".

Askarova Zifa Asanbaevna - Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine KazNU. Al-Farabi, was born on May 16, 1949. In 1966, after graduating from secondary school No. 25 of Almaty, she entered the biological faculty of the Kazakh State University. CM. Kirov, and in 1971 enrolled in graduate school and in 1975 under the guidance of Ph.D., associate professor PTTulbaeva successfully defended her thesis. Since 1975, she began her teaching activities, first working at the Department of Nature Conservation and Biology Teaching Methods as a senior lecturer, in 1980 she transferred to the Department of Human and Animal Physiology, the academic title of associate professor was awarded in June 1984, from June 1984 to the present works as an assistant professor at the Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine. From 1997 to 1999 she headed the department of human and animal physiology.

The round table was attended by students, young scientists and lecturers, and Dean of the faculty D.B.Sc, Professor Zayadan B.K., Director of the Research Institute of Biology and Biotechnology Problems, D.B.Sc, Professor, Academician of NAS RK Bissenbaev A.K. the round table reports were made by doctoral students of the 2-3 course of the Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine, as well as opinions were expressed on modern problems of physiological science.
