On October 18, 2023, the Vice-Rector of Daegu University of Oriental Medicine, Mr. Park Jin-soo, visited the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The vice-rector met with the dean of the faculty N.B. Eat, head of the department A.B. Abagan. The university's development strategy is based on the development of scientific research. Mr. Park is directly involved in establishing a close connection between research and production. In order to expand the boundaries of cooperation with the CIS countries, the vice-rector decided to get acquainted directly with the Far East Department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies and consider the possibilities of establishing contacts with universities. Because only specialists from the Department of the Far East, who speak not only the Korean language, but also economics, history and culture, can become a bridge for establishing cooperation between the medical faculties of the two countries.
