On July 21, 2022, the visiting professor of the Department of the Far East of the Al-Farabi KazNU Lee Byong Jo gave a special online lecture to about 20 undergraduates and doctoral students of Yeungnam University. The topic of the special lecture was “150-year history and culture of the Koreans of the CIS”, and in a special lecture, visiting professor Lee Byong Jo explained the 150-year history of Koreans in Central Asia, dividing it into four periods, and provided detailed scientific information about education, media and artistic activities of the CIS Koreans.
