On april 29, 2020 year, U. A. Amirbekova-head of the student scientific circle "Shin Sede" of the Far Eastern Department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. as well as curator B. Zh. Tashkenbayeva and 2nd year student Mels Inabat, Medinaeva Maya, Zhuanysh Aliya, Kurvanzhanova Arzigul, Esmagambet Dinara, Tlectes Nazerke, Zhaksylyk Nurzhanat organized a quiz "Me and Korea" within the week of korean studies.

The quiz was attended by students of the 1st and 2nd courses. The sophomores provided the freshmen with interesting information and games about Korea for the modern youth. It is worth noting that Mels Inabat, Kurvanzhanova Arzigul prepared interesting questions about doramas, and Medinaeva Maya organized games about K-pop. In addition, Tlektes Nazerke and Esmaganbet Dinara shared interesting information about the history of Korea, and Zhaksylyk Nurzhanat shared her tips for learning the Korean language through a presentation. The event was filled with fun games and a good atmosphere . The first-year students were divided into four groups and took an active part in the competition. At the end of the event, the students asked questions and learned a lot of interesting information. They also expressed their gratitude. The online quiz ended with warm words from the students to each other, and the winning third group received a small prize.
