From April 26 to 30, 2021, the international summer school SMARTCITY: Innovative Approach Towards a Master Program on Smart Cities Technologies / SMRCITY Activity “Smart University is the foundation for a Smart City” was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. KazNU decided to organize a special school for teachers and work out complex and important aspects on it in order to ensure a decent quality of the educational process for the master's program in smart cities technologies.
The venue for the five-day school was webinars on the Zoom platform and the course could be taken at KazNU for School. Interactive online classes and trainings were conducted by experienced KazNU teachers Sh.A. Dzhomartova, M.E. Mansurova, S.Zh. Mausumbekova, B.A. Belgibaev, highly qualified specialists of the Data Processing Center Zh.Zh. Mamykova, E. Kistaubaev and invited specialists Professor A.V. Brovko, professor V.V. Pechenkin State Technical University named after V.V. Yuri Gagarina (Saratov), Professor Vadim Zhmud Head of the Department of Automation, Novosibirsk State Technical University, undergraduates of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data also spoke.
