Dear students, Master Degree and PhD students!
The Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences with GIS day Kazakhstan announce a map competition! The competition is open to all cartographers who have created maps completed or published within the past calendar year. Students are especially encouraged to apply for gifts sponsored by GIS day Kazakhstan. The focus of this competition is design. Judging is based on cartographic design criteria such as creativity, text (including spelling and grammar), balance, unity, visual hierarchy, clarity, use of color and theme.
