On October 28, the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics organized “Initiation into Students” for first-year students. 

On October 26, at the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management, second-year students of the specialty “Geodesy and Cartography” held “Our unity is perfect!” In honor of the Republic Day, an educational lesson was held.

On October 25, at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, an educational hour on the theme “Kazakhstan is my Homeland!” was held with 1st-year students of the specialty “Geodesy and Cartography” in honor of the Republic Day.

On October 25, 1990, the Declaration on State Sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR was adopted. 

On October 24, an advisory hour “My Homeland is Kazakhstan!” was held with 3rd–year students of the specialties “Geodesy and Cartography”, “Geoinformatics” in honor of the Republic Day. 

Our President Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev reconfirmed October 25 as Republic Day this year. This day has a great place in the history of the independence of our country. On October 25, 1990, by the decision of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR, the declaration «On State Sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR» was adopted. On the basis of this declaration, on December 16, 1991, the Constitutional Law on «State Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan» was adopted.

On October 13, the educational hour “effective organization of independent work of students” took place.

On October 12, a training seminar “The use of orthophotographs in assessing the damage of man-made events” was held at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management with 2nd-year students of the specialty “Geodesy and Cartography”.
