During the curatorial hour, the characteristics of a competitive biotechnological specialist were given; the list of positions was presented and information on potential places of work for graduates of the department was given. The main mistakes made during employment and ways to find work were discussed. The main ways of increasing scientific qualification and retraining were given.

Discussion took place in the form of a question-answer, all of the students were involved.

Students actively participated in this event, were raised the most pressing problems about choosing a profession, and suggested ways of solving these problems. The activities of the laboratories of the biotechnology department, the prospects for work in them, and possible foreign internships were considered.

In conclusion, I would like to note that the main task of the curatorial hour, which is to provide students with information about the breadth of their employment opportunities in the chosen specialty, was successfully implemented! Students were very interested in this event, which was reflected in the feedback in the form of questions. I hope that this event will help many students in choosing a future profession.
