The action, which culminated with a celebratory event with participation of teachers and students of the Middle Eastern Studies department. For the event, students had prepared a special holiday program, where they sang and danced, presented the audience a slide show with a visit to the orphanage by students and  teachers of the department. Besides that students with their mentors presented "Eastern dastarkhan", which they decorated with all sorts of Persian and Arabic cuisine among which nauryz kozhe standed out.
The guests of the event were the teachers of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, and special guest director of the cultural center of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Almaty doctor Hemdan.
The celebration was concluded by Professor of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Utegen Kүmіsbaev, who read a specially written for this event poetic work and admonished all present his Bata (blessing).
