On April 29, 2024, the Republican subject Olympiad on EP “6B02207 - Oriental Studies” was held. The competition was attended by students of 2-3-4 courses studying in higher educational institutions of the country on the EP “Oriental Studies”. The Republican Olympiad consisted of 2 rounds. The first stage was held within each educational institution. The second stage of the Olympiad was organized at L.N. Gumilyov ENU, which was assigned to the basic educational institution of the EP “Oriental Studies” olympiad. As the heads of students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Department of the Middle East and South Asia of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, candidate of philology, senior lecturer Zhumazhanova F.T. and candidate of philology, Acting Associate Professor Mamedova F.Z. accompanied the participants of the Olympiad to Astana. According to the results of the Olympiad in “Oriental Studies” (Arabic studies), Tagybai Aisaule took the second place, and Sauirbai Gulfairuz took the third place.
