On March 17, 2021, students of the 3rd year study of the specialty "Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances" held an educational hour on the topic "Nur sebele, Ulystyn uly kuni!" in honor of the Nauryz holiday under the guidance of Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of "Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry " Orynbasar R.O.

The purpose of the festive event was to show the traditions and customs of the Kazakh people, to give an idea of the Nauryz holiday and to foster a respectful attitude to national traditions.

During the event, students described in detail national costumes, ornaments, national games, Kazakh jewelry, dishes that are part of Nauryz kozhe, Kazakh rituals. The participants were also offered crossword puzzles and games.

The participating students showed high activity during the organization of the event. All the material was presented in the form of a presentation. The celebration was attended by the department teaching staff and students of the 2nd and 3rd years of study. At the end of the educational hour, the teaching staff of the department expressed their deep gratitude and warm wishes to the organizers.
