On March 12, 2021, as part of the implementation of the "Rukhani Zhangyru" program and on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the declaration of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalyses and Petrochemistry of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University held an online intellectual game "What? Where? When? " on the topic "The history of the people of the Great Steppe". The event was attended by teams of three higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan: al - Farabi Kazakh National University, Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University and the Academy of Civil Aviation. Participants of the intellectual game competed in knowledge on the history of the formation of science, higher education, the chemical industry, and the green economy in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The students of the teams demonstrated a high level of knowledge of the history of their country, the stages of development of domestic science and higher education. The team of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University won the first prize, the students of KazNU won the second place, and the Civil Aviation Academy – the third.
