Today, relations between the Al-Farabi Kazakh State University and the French University of Lorraine are developing within the framework of various educational programs. One of them was the fact that since February of this year, the faculty of the University of Lorraine has started its classes in an online format for our undergraduates studying under the program of double-degree education in the specialty 7M07202 - "Oil and Gas Business" of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies, the Department of "Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry". Thanks to these courses, our undergraduates, firstly, will expand their knowledge of the knowledge they receive from European teachers, and secondly, after selection, they will have the opportunity to continue their studies at a European educational institution and receive double diplomas.

Courses: geology, underground hydro-mechanics, mineral resources and their processing.

Currently, Irina Panfilova, a qualified professor at the University of Lorraine, responsible representative of the Department of Oil and Gas Affairs, conducts classes on the course Transport of fluids, multiphase flow and hydrodynamic in the reservoir (transportation of liquids, multiphase flow and hydrodynamics in tanks). During the course, undergraduates additionally gain knowledge about water reservoirs, their geometry and hydrostatics, parameters of the porous medium; oil and gas fields, underground storage facilities: geometry and thermodynamics, the theory of single-phase flow in a porous medium; the formation of a constant flow flow is the area of its theoretical and production application; an irregular flow depends on its theoretical and production application.
