At the level of our university, within the framework of the social and political educational work of the project "100 books to be read by a student of KazNU" with students specializing in "Chemical technology of organic substances", specializing in the department of physical chemistry, catalysis and petrochemistry, a literary and musical video evening «Есіңе мені алғайсың» was organized, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Khan-Tengri of Kazakh poetry, Mukagali Suleimenovich Makatayev, known as the" Poet of the century ". The event was attended by students studying in the Kazakh and English languages, who, reading the works of the poet, tried to show that in his short life the poet managed to bring clean, sincere, fervent songs and epics into Kazakh literature with unique harmony. It was especially noted that the legacy of M. Makatayev, in which the poet sang the future of his country all his adult life and who managed to protect his love for the people not only in poetry, but also in life, in struggle, will never disappear and keep them in memory - the main the debt of the younger generation.
