The Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry is implementing a two-degree program in the specialty "7M07201-Oil and Gas Business" in cooperation with the French University of Lorraine. This academic year, 4 teachers of the above-mentioned university, Raymond Michels, Irina Panfilova, Lev Filippov, David Josselin, give lectures and conduct practical classes in the following disciplines to the 1st-year undergraduates studying in this specialty online: «Geochemistry, diagenesis and transports in petroleum systems», «Transport of fluids, multiphase flow and hydrodinamics in the reservoirs», «Mineral processing, geology and raw Mineral Materials». Curricula conducted in the framework of the double degree programmes, linked to modern scientific achievements in the oil and gas industry, with specific examples, discusses the features and benefits of their application in practice, and a comparative analysis of previous and new results. Undergraduates with great enthusiasm attend lectures of foreign professors, ask questions concerning knowledge in the field of oil and gas business and receive appropriate answers. Such programs are effective, timely and promising for expanding the horizons and knowledge of the younger generation.
