24.02.2021 within the framework of pedagogical practice at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University at the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry, 1st year students of the Master's degree in “Petrochemistry” organized the event "National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic" on the Zoom platform. Studying abroad is every student's dream but unfortunately not everyone can afford it. Financial problems are not the only problem. Many even with sufficient funds and academic achievements, do not know the nuances of admission to foreign universities.

The invitations were sent in advance in three languages.

The event started with a greeting from the organizers, followed by a presentation of the National Scholarship Program of the Slovak Republic, general information, information, questions and conclusions from students and undergraduates. The presentation considered the National Scholarship Program of the Slovak Republic for students in Kazakhstan, ways of achieving it, requirements and nuances of obtaining a grant and other issues were raised. In addition, the presentation provided complete and accurate answers to topical questions of students and teachers participating in the meeting.

The event was attended by students, undergraduates and teachers of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry. There is every reason to believe that the meeting was held at a high level and the participants were completely satisfied. After the meeting, some students showed interest and provided us with their feedback.
