2nd-year students of Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University of the specialty «Technology of pharmaceutical production» are joined the exchange program of experience in the discipline of TPP18-004-2k and TPP 18-003-2k «processes and devices of pharmaceutical production » at the department of physical chemistry, catalysis and petrochemistry of the chemical faculty at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Professor, candidate of chemical sciences Eshova Zh.T. showed the students the working principles of equipment used for combining the theoretical with practice. Students were acknowledged with laboratory equipment on distillation processes, hydrodynamic separation methods and pseudo-liquid hydraulics (www.kaznu.kz).

The students were also introduced to the model of heterogeneous separation apparatus and saw that the deposition process was carried out under the influence of gravity, and the filtration process was carried out by the pressure difference. However, they also indicate that the process under the action of centrifugal force is more efficient, as well as the calculations and methods used in the hydraulic study of the fluidization layer.

Production is the basis of the country's economy. That is why students are inspired and convinced that the specialty of pharmaceutical technologies is important and that the future of Kazakhstan's production is in our hands.
