At the faculty of chemistry and chemical technology of KazNU after named al-Arabi there are many good and bright tradition. One of them is the annual judicial inter-University competition "League of Chemists". This competition is organized by senior students with the active support of teachers of the Department of physical chemistry, catalysis and petrochemistry.
This year the competition was held on November 22 and 8student teams from universities of Almaty-KazNMU took part in it.S. D. Asfendiyarov,  KazNTU.K. I. Satpayev, Almaty technological University, Kazakh state Women's Pedagogical University and KazNU after named al - Farabi
Every year, the "League of Chemists" competition gathers students of different universities and specialties within the walls of our faculty, who are United by youth, active life position, commitment, positive attitude to the world around them and a bright desire to do good together – in a team, shoulder to shoulder, hand to hand.  The competition provides young people with a unique opportunity to feel that their strength is in unity, that together they are able to cope with difficulties and do a lot, and even turn back the rivers. That is why every fan and member of the jury sincerely cheered and rejoiced at the success of each participant of the competition, regardless of which team or University he was from. The contest was held in a friendly, festive atmosphere, with balloons, flowers and music. The teams competed in 6 rounds with interesting and creative tasks that were developed by the 2nd year undergraduates of the specialty "Chemistry". The fans barely had time to "cheer", because the organizers and they were actively involved in the game. A well-deserved victory in the fair play and the first place with valuable prizes went to the students of the team "Funny Powder'' KazNMU S. D. Asfendiyarov (https://kaznmu.kz/). Second place took team "Легенда" KazNU. Third place was awarded to 3 teams: Kazakh state Women's Pedagogical University "Томирис", KazNMU S. D. Asfendiyarov "Kaz - P - 7", "Supermedics" from High medical faculty. All teams were awarded certificates and prizes for their active participation in the game and for their contribution to the development of friendly relations between students of universities in Almaty.  The biggest reward for all participants, students-fans, students-organizers and teachers was communication and the atmosphere of friendship and unity. At the end of the competition, everyone expressed special gratitude for the organization of the competition to the students and undergraduates of the specialty "Chemistry" and "Chemical technology of inorganic substances" - for their initiative, work, responsibility and creativity.
