Round table in the framework of the project “100 books”
Within the framework of the project “100 books”, the Head of the Department, Prof. Aubakirov Y.A.; Ass.Prof., PhD. Sassykova L.R.; Ass.Prof., PhD. Tashmukhambetova Zh.Kh. and a group 101A “ChTOS” (English division) have organized on November 29, 2018 a round table devoted to discussion of the novel of Oscar Wilde “The Picture of Dorian Gray”.
During the discussion, common human values were considered: love for parents, decency, mercy, attitude to art, the causes of pride, arrogance, vanity and depression. The participants of the round table came to a consensus - we are all part of the Universe, regardless of the nation, religion, citizens of sovereign Kazakhstan, should treat each other with love and tolerance. Only that person possesses the true beauty, which is beautiful in soul, there is no outer beauty without inner fullness.
Such events greatly contribute to the dialogue of generations and the education of the best qualities in young people.
