"History and culture of Korea"
Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of Al-Farabi KazNU Sassykova L.R. held a curatorial hour for bachelors of the English division (specialty "Chemical Technology of Organic Substances") "History and culture of Korea." A foreign student, a citizen of South Korea, a bachelor So Dong-chan showed a presentation about the culture of South Korea and the tradition of celebrating the New Year (Sollal). Abdolla Raiysov spoke about the friendly relations between Kazakhstan and South Korea and about the differences in the state symbols of the countries. The features of South Korea's industry and its place in the global industry, features of Korean cuisine were also discussed. Zhigerbayeva Guldana and Zhumagazy Serik shared their impressions of visiting South Korea, in particular, Seoul and Busan.
