The Day of Open Doors
November 16, 2017 at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology was the Day of Open Doors, dedicated to teachers and schoolchildren. First, the dean of the faculty E.K.Ongarbaev spoke about the Kazakh National University of al-Farabi, about the leading positions in the world ranking and about the high achievements of the university. Further, the teaching staff of the departments of the faculty told about the faculty of chemistry and chemical technology, as well as current scientific directions and research. In turn, the students asked the dean long-standing questions, such as how many grants will be allocated next year, what is the cost of paid training, how things are with employment after graduation, etc. The dean gave detailed, full answers to all questions. The evening ended with special concerts organized by the activists of the faculty. After that, an excursion was organized around the departments, where they acquainted the students with the instruments with the methods of research.
