The department of physical chemistry, catalysis and petrochemistry of faculty of chemistry and chemical technology invites everyone to the lectures of professor Qamar Abbas

Professor Qamar Abbas is a well-known scientist in the field of hybrid supercapacitors, battery electrodes, nanoporous carbon, graphene and 2D materials for environmentally friendly energy storage.

He is the author of more than 60 scientific papers published in journals with a high impact factor, such as "Nature Communications", "Carbon", "ACS Applied Energy Materials", "Materials Science and Engineering: R: Reports". He is the author of 11 patents, monographs "Catalytic Kinetics" (Elsevier, 2015) and "Catalytic Kinetics: Chemistry and Engineering" (Elsevier, 2016). Professor Abbas has presented his research at more than 47 international conferences as a plenary, keynote speaker or invited speaker. He is currently managing two Austrian projects.
