On April 20, 2021, the students of the 304th group of the specialty of the ICT and the 204th group of the specialty of the technology of pharmaceutical production held the discussion on topic “What is the purpose of Green Chemistry?”.

The event was organized by teachers of the Department of Physical Chemistry, catalysis and petrochemistry, Ph. D., associate professor G. zh.Zhaksylykova, Ph. D., senior teacher F. M. Kanapieva, PhD, senior teacher N. zh.Kudaibergenov and 1st year undergraduates of the specialty "petrochemistry" Afghanbek Bauyrzhan, Yesenov Arhat.

The main purpose of the event was to explain to students the problems of Green Chemistry and the benefits of projects based on Green Chemistry for humanity and the environment.

There was a discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of Green Chemistry among the students and they were able to express their opinions

concerning given topic. Students of our faculty Beibit Daulet, Nurken Kustubayev, Aitugan Rakhimzhan and akan Akzhol took an active part in an interesting discussion, sharing their views on solving global problems based on Green Chemistry.

Professor of the Department of pedagogy and management of Education Bulatbayeva Aigul Abdimazhitovna noted that the event was held at a high level and gave a positive feedback.
