As you know, the holiday of Nauryz is a national holiday of the peoples of Central Asia, including the Kazakh people. This holiday is associated with the revival of nature, the arrival of spring and warmth. The holiday of Nauryz is designed to promote the national values of our people, to serve as an example to follow our traditions and customs.

   In this regard, students of the 102-group majoring in Kazakh philology of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a festive evening on the theme "KOSH KELDIN, AZ NAURYZ!". At the festive evening, songs were performed, kui on dombra and kobyz were played. Quiz questions were organized among the students. Poems dedicated to the holiday of Nauryz were read.

       The evening was full of the "NAURYZ-KOKTEM" relay race, prepared by Aigany Konyrbaikyzy, Razia Izbaskhanova, Elmira Zhanyzakova, Zhanbolat Batyl, Kaishymbek Baknur.

       At the end of the evening, the parents of the students Kalkaev Erkinbek Nurakhmetovich, Moldashova Uriya Uzakbayevna congratulated on the holiday of Nauryz and thanked the teachers and students. Also, the festive evening was attended by Associate Professor of the Department of Languages of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S. Asfendiyarov Zaysanbayev Toleubek Kizatovich, Head of the Department of Kazakh Linguistics, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Satkenova Zhaina Bagasharovna and teachers of the department. Senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Tonker Aisulu thanked the students for the high-level evening and congratulated the guests of the evening on the holiday.
