“MEMORIES ABOUT ME WILL BE WRITTEN”

On February 8, 2023 in the creative hall of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University library, a literary and aesthetic evening was held dedicated to the memory of the poetMukagali Makatayev. The topic of the evening was: “Memories about me will be written”. The evening was organized by students of the 201st group majoring in Kazakh philology and  Akhmet Baitursynuly Department of Linguistics of the Faculty of Philology. The students of "Kazakh Philology" major, the library staff and the guests from student organizations visited this event.

   The evening was opened by Mukagali Makataev’s life and creative path overview and a sketch based on the poet's poem: “1941. Akpan”, which is devoted to the war years. For amateurs of poetry, the masters of poetic art recited their poems written on different topics. "Sen menin zhanarymnyn ishindesin" poem popular among young people and other poems by the poet were recited at the event which aroused a lot of positive and cheerful emotions among the audience. The translation of "Mozart. Sorrow of the Soul" read by the students A. Bektursyn, D. Altynbekkyzy and K. Amanova touched the hearts of the audience. After the poems written by the students that were devoted to the evening topic the song "Men dep oil" was performed by the student G. Aigazinova. The stage performance: “Bakyt degen not ozі”, presented by a group of young men caused many applauds and delightful cries from the audience. The song “Bakyt degen” written by the poet was also produced an unforgettable impression. During the event, the acting skills of the students: Koygeldi Nurtileu, Narikbay Nurken, Dosanova Akbota, Malik Rakhim were praised by the audience, but the flute play by Orazakyn Ansara was able to capture the audience attention having left a bright memoryThe student waltz “Kuren kuz” and the song “Esіnye meni algaisyn” performed by the students ended the evening.

       At the end of the evening, the adviser of the group 201 "Kazakh Philology" Zh. Abitzhanova made a speech, the library staff expressed their gratitude to the students and thanked them for their vivid performances.
