"The Life and art of Ernest Hemingway"
8 February 2016 15:10 at the faculty of international relations Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi in the framework of the project "100 books" was an educational event on the theme "the Life and art of Ernest Hemingway". During the event, students got acquainted with the biography of the writer, significant stages of his life, discussed the most famous works, especially focusing on the story "the old Man and the sea" and its educational potential. After discussing the story, students watched the animated film directed by Aleksandr Petrov on povestirile Hemingway., made in the style of "live painting". The event aroused interest in the work of the writer and his contribution to literary art.
Participants: students 2 and 3 courses of specialty "Pedagogy and psychology" and "Social pedagogy and self-knowledge".
