1st year doctoral students of the Department of Mechanics held an educational event on the topic "Prospects of employment in the organization of the field of space technology and technology of the Republic of Kazakhstan"

March 16, 2021 1st year doctoral students of the Department of Mechanics with a degree in Space Engineering and Technology: M. Tassova, A. Kalybekova, A. Baden, Zhunusov R. - within the scopus of the project "Aynalady Nurlandyr" and to the "60th anniversary of the day of cosmonautics", an educational event was held aimed at the sustainable development of the employment system for students of the Department of Mechanics, specializing in SET.

Topic: "Prospects of employment in the organization of the field of space technology and technology of the Republic of Kazakhstan."

This event was attended by students of the Department of Mechanics of 1-4 courses of bachelor's degree and 1-2 courses of master's degree. Since the issue of employment is acute at the present time, the relevance of this event is beyond doubt. The organizers carefully took into account all the details of the event, since such a meeting gives an impetus to students' self-realization both in the professional field and in the work direction. And also, representatives of the Department of Mechanics were invited with the students, represented by:

• Head of the Department of Mechanics, Ph.D., Associate Professor - Z.B. Rakisheva,

• Deputy Head Department of Mechanics for educational-methodical and educational work, Ph.D., associate professor - D.E. Turalina,

• Deputy Head Department of Mechanics for Scientific and Innovative Activity and International Relations, Art. teacher - Doszhan N.S.

The main invited participants - "potential employers" were:

• Bibosinov Asylkhan Zhanibekovich - Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, “National Center for Space Research and Technologies” JSC;

• Batalova Malika - Director of the Department of Strategic Development and International Cooperation of “KazAeroSpace” LLP;

Aipova Ayagoz Asulanovna - Head of the Water Resources Monitoring Division of the Department of Spatial Data of JSC NC "Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary";

Stewart James Bowlin - Managing Partner of “Rakurs Tech” LLP, a certified pilot of the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA);

Sydyk Nurmakhambet Kanatuly - head of the sector of the Subsidiary Limited Liability Company “Institute of the Ionosphere”.

According to the list of participants, you can see that not only citizens of our country took part, but also a certified US pilot, including representatives of large state and quasi-state industries.

Each of the invited speakers of the event made a speech, which was accompanied by informative presentations and videos about the company's activities, including detailing the specialty of SET.

Anyone had the opportunity to personally ask questions on pressing topics, such as: employment, employment, obtaining satellite images for scientific purposes, scientific and material support, etc.

Students of our department received a lot of useful information on the specialty SET, and also learned what great opportunities this specialty gives in the industry: space / satellite monitoring, space design, in Earth remote sensing systems, the possibilities and ways of monitoring and detecting emergencies, they learned how all of the above directions are integrated with the specialty of SET. Within the framework of the event, students received answers to their questions, and saw their capabilities in research direction.
