Smart Cinema
November 26, 2015 held the third in this academic year, Smart Cinema Club event. It was devoted to the theme "The discovery in science" (securing concept "Truth, truth, science and discovery"). Students of the International School of Almaty, the school gymnasium №1 and school "Miras" was shown the film "Agora" (Spain), based on the historical events of 4-5 centuries BC and dedicated to the first woman scientist Hypatia.
In his opening remarks the leading Cinema Club, an assistant professor of philosophy Boretsky O.M. and literature teacher Titovа L. stressed the importance of commitment, curiosity and obsession in cognition observed uneasy relationship between science and religion. As a result of the show, students will write an essay with the evaluation and reflection of the film.
