Within the framework of the project: “Brighten your corner where you are” at the Faculty of Philology and World Languages, the Foreign Languages ​​Department organized an event on the theme "Expo 2017 the main event of the country" in order to promote the culture of the world's technologies of the country. The event was held on October 23, 2017 at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. The event was organized by the senior teacher of the English language Adilbaeva U.B.

The purpose of this event is to acquaint students with the EXPO exhibition and its history, with the significance of holding EXPO -2017, and expanding students' knowledge of the topics studied in English. And also - the development of thinking skills, the ability to find answers to problems of a problem nature with the use of intercultural connections. The main goal of this event was to discuss the topic of the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2017 "Energy of the Future" and its sub-theme "Energy Efficient Way of Life". Holding an event in English by the forces of students is a factor that increases the desire of students to improve their knowledge of English.
