Upbringing - this is a purposeful and organized process of personality formation. In a broad social sense, upbringing is the transfer of accumulated experience from the older generations to the younger ones. Experience is understood as known to people knowledge, skills, ways of thinking, moral, ethical, legal norms - in short, all the spiritual heritage of mankind created in the process of historical development. In the narrow social sense, education is understood as the directed influence on the person by public institutions with the aim of forming certain knowledge, views and beliefs, moral values, political orientation, preparation for life.

In order to effectively implement educational work, such as the attitude of the individual to the world around him, to certain values and social phenomena, as well as the education of Kazakhstan's patriotism and citizenship, legal education in KazNU. Al-Farabi issues of spiritual and moral education are given serious attention; it is an obligatory component of the comprehensive program of the educational work of the university. Since 2012, on the initiative of the rector G.M.Mutanov, the project "Bright your Corner!" has been launched, whose goal is to promote the moral values ​​of mankind. "Everyone should contribute to the world around him. Wherever we are, we should take care of what is around us, "the head of the university said in his speech. KazNU is aimed at moral education - one of the main directions of educational work. It includes ethical education, formation of solid moral beliefs and needs among students, high moral qualities and feelings, and stable norms of behavior. 

The goals and principles of this project are: Formation of the spiritual, moral and ethical principles of the individual, his moral qualities and attitudes, consistent with the universal values, norms and traditions of the life of Kazakhstan society. And we, as the teachers of KazNU, the Department of Foreign Languages, have set ourselves the task of forming active, educated and healthy citizens, to give new impulses to the development of all Kazakh culture.

     Patriotic, educated, healthy, responsible and energetic, successfully working in the conditions of innovative economy, owning Kazakh, Russian and English languages, having absorbed the values ​​and culture of the Kazakh people, tolerant, recognizable and respected in the world - this is what the Kazakhstan youth of 2020 sees. To support our project, teachers of the department weekly hold thematic lessons, projects, round tables, discussions in all directions. In the year, once we hold a large-scale event, where students show their talents and abilities.
