On December 3, students of the Oriental Studies Faculty under the guidance of the teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages A.Zh. Otetileuova held the annual English “Thanksgiving Day” within the framework of the university program “Brighten the corner where you are!”. The First-year undergraduate students of the Oriental Studies Faculty participated in the event. The event, which began with performances, continued with songs, dances and creative videos. During the event, students and audience were united to conduct a quiz, and the winner was determined at the end of the competition. In addition, students showed a video on how to prepare a traditional English Thanksgiving dish. The participants of the event expressed gratitude not only in English, but also in Western and Eastern languages.
