An International Student Festival was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The Department of International Cooperation of KazNU and the Committee of Youth Organizations organized the student event. At the festival, foreign students of KazNU have presented to the audience their national costumes and dishes, they sang songs, danced and read poetry of the great poets of their country. In addition, foreign students have introduced guests with their national traditions and customs and told interesting facts about their country.

This Festival, with the participation of foreign students from India, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Japan, Korea, China, Afghanistan, Poland, and Vietnam, is being held for the first time at the University and more than 100 students from all 16 Departments of KazNU took part in the event.

According to representatives of the Committee of Youth Organizations of KazNU, this event will make a great contribution to the development of intercultural communications of students and strengthen friendly relations.
